Our Pacific Palisades camp has a level of spirit and enthusiasm unmatched by any beach camp in Southern California hosting children ages 5 to 14 for the past 20 years. It’s a great choice for returning campers, first-time campers, or if you have a tweener to early teenager, there are sure to be kids their age here!
Located at Will Rogers State Beach, Lifeguard Tower 14, the Pacific Palisades is the perfect beach location:
- It’s directly next to the LA County Lifeguard Headquarters for extra safety measures.
- short walks to the bathrooms with counselor-chaperoned trips
- has very little public foot traffic, with the nearest public entrance 1 mile away. It’s like a private beach!
Because it hosts the most kids, this location offers the widest variety of activities on any given day—surfing, team sports, gymnastics, crafts, dance, martial arts —with all the festivity and fun that has become our trademark. With up to 50 daily activities, it’s like a carnival of choices!
And remember, all of our camps cater to first-time campers and kids new to the ocean. No Prior ocean experience is required. Non-swimmers are welcome! All the activities are age-appropriate and our camp counselors are patient and caring, providing maximum individual attention for your child every step of the way.
Driving Directions to the Pacific Palisades Location:
Located at Will Rogers State Beach, Lifeguard Tower 14 at Pacific Coast Highway and Temescal Canyon Road in Pacific Palisades.
From Pacific Palisades Take Temescal Canyon west, cross Pacific Coast Highway into the beach parking lot.
From Santa Monica Take Pacific Coast Highway north until you reach Temescal Canyon. Turn left into the beach parking lot.
From West Los Angeles, Beverly Hills Take the 10 Freeway west until it ends and becomes Pacific Coast Highway.
Continue north on Pacific Coast Highway for approximately 3.5 miles to Temescal Canyon, turn left into the beach parking lot.
You will receive a parking pass (valid for 30 minutes) at the entrance from a Fitness by the Sea staff member or the parking attendant, which you will need to show to the parking attendant and then place in your front window.
Once you have passed the parking attendant, make a u-turn in the parking lot and proceed South for .75 miles to Lifeguard Tower 14.
